KLYV Therapeutics’ First Website

KLYV Therapeutics is an Oslo-based biotech developing small-molecule drugs that target the extracellular matrix to treat cardiac fibrosis and heart failure. The company had no website. We designed and built its first one in WordPress, turning complex science into a clear six-page story.

Making Complex Science Clear

A drug discovery company has to be understood by very different readers: investors, potential partners, researchers and future colleagues. We structured the site so each of them can follow the science from the big idea to the evidence, without losing the precision the subject needs.

The Starting Point: No Website

KLYV is developing a new treatment for cardiac fibrosis, a key driver of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). The company had no website, so there was no shared place to explain the science, introduce the team or show progress.

One Page for Each Question

We organized the site around the questions a visitor brings: what the technology is, how far the lead programme has come, who is behind the company and what has happened lately. The homepage gives a short entry to each, and the subpages go deeper.

Explaining the Technology

The Technology page explains the extracellular matrix and KLYV’s discovery approach. Computational chemistry, medicinal chemistry and biological testing sit in tabs, and a pipeline table shows each programme’s stage from discovery towards clinical phases.

Evidence Visitors Can Follow

The Lead programme page moves from the medical problem to the target. Three evidence cards with scientific images sum up why the enzyme KLYV targets is relevant in heart failure.

A Calm, Scientific Look

Deep greens, network imagery and hexagonal frames give the site a calm, precise character. A floating navigation bar, gentle entrance animations and responsive layouts keep it easy to use on desktop and mobile.

The Outcome: One Place to Send People

KLYV now has a website that presents its science, team and progress in one place. When the company meets investors, partners or researchers, it has somewhere to send them, and the Updates page grows as the programme moves forward.

Questions about this project

No. This was the company’s first website, so we started with the structure: which pages were needed and what each one had to explain.

Web design and development. We designed the pages and built the site in WordPress with Elementor, including responsive layouts and animations.

Home, Technology, Lead programme, Team & collaborators, Updates and Contact. Each page covers one part of the company’s story and has its own search description.

The Updates page collects company news such as funding, new team members and events. It runs on WordPress, so new posts can be added without changing the design.
